Frequently Asked Questions
What size circles can I cut?
The Jasper 2000SE produces 268 indexed circle sizes from 1½" through 18 3/16" in precise 1/16-inch increments. Every indexed position corresponds to a specific finished circle diameter, allowing you to return to the same size without repeated measuring or layout.
Why is the 2000SE made from polycarbonate instead of acrylic or aluminum?
Polycarbonate wasn't chosen simply because it's durable.
It was chosen because it's the material that best protects both the guide and your router.
If a router is accidentally dropped, polycarbonate can flex and absorb impact that might shatter acrylic or transfer damaging forces through an aluminum guide into the router itself.
Like every part of the Jasper Precision Routing System, the material was selected through engineering—not appearance.
